What...
are our aims?Our mission is to fight Poverty through practical jewellery skills training, mentoring, employment, micro and social enterprise development.
Where...
do we work?Training takes place at our workshops in the jewellery quarter Birmingham where we run an apprenticeship/mentoring programme as well as jewellery workshops for individuals and small groups.
We lead subsidised jewellery workshops and demonstrations at schools, colleges, churches, charitable organisations and community groups.
We work with charitable organisations in The U.K, Haiti, the Caribbean, India, Africa and other developing nations, alleviating poverty and bringing, ‘a crown on beauty instead of ashes’.
Why...
do we do this?To see broken lives recycled through our message of practical prosperity and salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Current projects:During 2010 – 2011 we trained seven people at our workshops in Birmingham, In partnership with the Salvation Army.
In October 2011 we travelled to Haiti in the Caribbean to train a group of people, most of whom were paralysed by the recent earthquake, in partnership with Haiti Hospital appeal.
In February 2012 we will travel to India with ‘Harvest India’ to train a group of women who have been rescued from prostitution in the art of jewellery making. Please pray for this forthcoming mission trip and for our partnership with and the un-going work of Harvest India. We run on-going jewellery workshops at our premises for individuals and for non – profit organisations. |
How… Can you get involved?Host a Jewellery event ...at your church or small group, our speaker shares her inspirational testimony whilst giving a jewellery making demonstration. Host a jewellery workshop for your group...Make and finish a piece of real silver jewellery to take away by the end of the workshop. Pray…We value your prayers; please continue to pray that God will open doors for our message, pray that we will proclaim it clearly and as we should.
